Hi all new to this forum so hope ive posted in the right place?
So today i installed a gilmer drive kit for my 304.
Intall went fairly smoothly but when i was moving the power steering pump the vac system that is mounted to the rad got moved around and shorted out on the battery.
Started car and all was good for about 15 mins then when down shifting from 4th to 3rd coughed and sputtered revs droped and had to hobble for a bit was like it flooded its self and could only give minimal throttle got it home still doing the same thing and was blowing clouds of black smoke so not sure any ideas?
