A quick Alloytec
at the qld commodores drag day on sat i was given the chance by Scott from SureShift automatics to try out a pressure riser for the 5spd...

tell ya what, with only 10% in the car at WOT there is a slight but definate difference in my car...
in a NA alloytec i would say in would be more noticeable....

in active select tho... definate awesome difference... shift changes are alot snappier, im very pleased..

i wanna try out a 15% and then maybe a 20% pressure riser next.
so a bit of good news for everyone with the 5spd!

i emailed them for a quote 2 days ago still no reply i got a quote from some other qld company, prices way to high and they wanted to put drag spec shift kit in.
what sorta price am i looking at for a kit that would handle around 450Kw, im realy worried that the 5 speed wont hold up to this sort of punnishment

VE SERIES 2 MY11 SSV A6 in IVY GREEN
This may be slightly off topic but i have a question regarding the my 5 Speed auto. I have noticed lately that when i rev it out to redline in power mode the change from 1st to 2nd is a little sloppy and slow. The thing is if i use active select it is a much faster/crisper shift. Could this be the computer getting confused with the extra power from my VCM tune?
