6x9 Placing Help

Hey everyone. im thinking of buyin pioneer 6x9 this week but im not sure where to put them on my rear parcel shelf. Ive heard if you replace the 6" and cut the hole bigger you wont get as good sound as in the middle section of the parcel shelf, and also anyone got diagrams or sumthing to put VR door pods on ? i have a VN.

to fit the 6x9 u dont have to cut holes into the metal. rip the old peice of chip board off from the back. get ur self a peice of mdf about 10mm thick and useing the old chip board as a template cut urself a new one to fit ontop. easy dood. jus rip ur carpet off old on and put on new mdf, cut holes and ur set.
