Honestly, Toyota has had so many fantastic 4s and 6s.... even a few V8s weren't bad. Stick to the same marque I think.

I have the Toyota 4M 6cyl that the previous owner was gonna put in it but the bottom end has seen better days... Im strongly leaning towards a 265 Hemi

If you want it to be a sleeper i'd say you're better off going something a bit newer and going efi, it'd easily be worth the dramas over a carbed version.
