Car's been feeling a little sluggish lately. Thought it might have been the valves tightening up, so measured the valve clearances today. All were within specs.

Will throw a new air and fuel filter in it before the weekend see how it goes.

Fitted up on of my 35 inch tyres to my spare rim. Going to put it on different corners of the car then flex it up and see how much if at all it fouls the guards to work out the offset of the rims i'll need. As it's on standard 0 offset rims atm.

Pulled the fuel sender out tonight, hoping i would find something partially blocking the pickup or something....but nothing.

Sucks because the rear seats had to come out to get to it.

While since i've done an update. Not much has been happening really.

Broke the fuel inlet pipe to the injection pump. A replacement fitting was impossible to find, rang 4 general wreckers and 2 4WD specific ones and couldnt find one so ended up getting it repaired and replacing most of the hardline with soft. Car pulls much better.

Its getting used as a bit of a workhorse lately, towing the new trailer about and also the boat.

Totally. It was the slowest race ever...missed the next set of lights and everything. Cruiser is a slug. On a good day, it will just stay ahead of my mates Corona up to 80km/h. Built for comfort, not speed
