hey guys,my cars runs lyk snot.. i put in gear and it starts 2 shudder even when i accelarate dea z no power. i put fuel injector cleaner and still same. nw i was told it kud b da fuel pressure regulator is dis rite?
I'd be inclined to replace the ignition leads ($40) and the plugs ($20) as your problem sounds more like ignition to me.
welcome to the forums mate. plugs and leads are always a good start cause if u havent done them since u got the car who knows how long its been. I had a 92 magna where it still had the stock leads on it from when it was new. A throttle body clean cant hurt it either. Oh and check ur exhaust, slide ur finger along the inside and tell me how sooty ur finger is. Being a 4 stroke and not a diesel it should be quite clean, my old EF falcon left nothing on your finger and the exhaust has NEVER EVER been cleaned. My bro had an EA Falcon that ran VERY rich, so much infact that it had ZERO power and the exhaust was so sooty that it was closing over with unburnt fuel so a clean exhaust is a good sign. Got 300kms to a 60 litre tank too /sigh/. Oh and please dont abbreviate so much mate cause i cant understand what u are saying half the time and no offense mate it makes u sound like a derro. But do the exhaust check among other things and let us know how u go.
ok thanks well i do no my exhaust has a hole and it is black on the inside but will try and change the leads and plugs and will get back
