95 VS Commodore

Hey Guys,

Got stuck on a dirt road recently, had a few heavy bumps on it, so had to get a slight run up (30km's) on some as the car became bogged at lower speed.

Hitting some of the larger ones sounded bad, but had no choice, not spending a night in that area & had to get the family home.

Since then the car has ran very well, however I notice going over some speed bumps are now quite a jolt to the car, and I seem to feel more bumps in the road then before. - sometimes on the speed bumps I can hear a slight "hiss" sound on coming down.

Not wanting to get stiffed by a "Suspension Specialist" - Does anyone know what these sort of symptoms might mean for my Car? - I am hoping that I dont need to replace the entire suspension system on the car, its looks expensive.

Anyway, any direction would be much appreciated, thanks guys.

If you dont know what to look for to thoroughly inspect the vehicle for any damage, then I suggest you take it for one of them safety inspections that some places have. Most of these 20,40 or whatever point inspections only cost a few bucks to get done and at least then you will know if anythings up, better to be safe than sorry..

Go to Pedder for there $27 tech inspection, obligation free. Only suggest this as I've seen the adds on TV....

must say get it sussed..pedders are the go...they work on all sorts of cars everyday and know what they are talking about...they even helped me out with my vr calais...previous owner played with suspension...so im left to fix all the shortcuts...but that being said...get it looked at its the suspension on ur car that meens the difference between life and death....not trying to scare u but trying to help u out.
