Update, changed the rocker cover gasket and spark plugs, just having a hard time with the leads on the left hand side. Do I have to remove the alternator or is this unnecessary. I don't see how Ill be able to get the conduit back on if I remove it

yeah, that is a PITA. I removed the old wide conduit, got some loom tube from Jaycar, small diameter to put around each spark plug lead. That seemed easier than poking them though the old one.
