Hey guys, been browsing the forum on and off for a while, thought I'd join up and share my beast with you..

Model: 98 S1 VT Berlina
Colour: White with racing stripes (+15hp)
Km: ~325,000
Interior: Stock, full JL Audio stereo
Exterior: VE SV6 18" wheels 225/45 fronts 245/45 rears, dual tip exhaust
Engine: Stock, typical 2.5" Redback catback exhaust
Brakes: stock
Transmission: Auto of course

Plans:

VX calais boot + taillights
monaro headlight conversion (genuine, not knock offs..)
New rear bumper (paint cracking off)
New front bumper (again, paint isn't the best)
possibly lower it, but that's a long way off yet.

Should set it pretty well right for a while. Sourcing the parts for the right price can be hard at times, anyone wrecking these parts in Brisbane send me a message!

Been thinking about it man, from what I've read in the past everyone's said it's next to impossible to get the glue off.. Is that true?

Nah. Bit of heat from hair dryer and some eucalyptus oil on the sticky stuff and it should roll off with a bit of finger pressure. Then a bit of polish and your done.
Just try a small strip first and see how it goes.

Not bad M8.. should remove the side plastic protection strips..will look cleaner

leave them on , protects against door knocks in car parks and so on , nice and clean Berlina though

Yeah, I reckon they look a lot better without them I just don't want to get one strip off and not the rest - I'll have a look around the forum.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

cheers for the comments guys. Really not sure what to do with the trolley strips, would be interested to see what they look like white - anyone good at photoshop?

It's not to bad for the K's - had a reco gearbox at about 250,000, motor feels like it's getting a bit tired and it's got the odd mark here and there but overall it's not too bad! Have to give it a cut and polish when I get the time.
