Everytime i back out of my driveway (lowered car and moderatly steep driveway) i hear a pretty loud knock/clunk from the right hand front (i think) but this is the only time i hear it and it just had its wheel alignment one month/2500klm's ago, there is no shakes/shudders/abnormal wear.
Any ideas i'm going to have a look tommorrow:bow:, as it has had a wheel alignment i assume they have missed something small and it hasn't effected any other part of the car while driving?

also check your strut top bearings and cases. i lost a couple of the ball bearings out of mine, didn't think too much of it and next thing i knew, the strut shaft had come up through under the bonnet. the bearing housing has too much pressure on it and breaks. but this was knocking in mine for ages.
Another cause could be the swaybar link and the bushes associated with them. i just replaced mine and all noises are now gone. my dad's VT has to be done soon as his is the same. common failure on all commodores as soon as ya play around with the front suspension.
hope this helps

depends on if it needs it. like my dad's are all bent on his, but mine weren't. but cos mine came in a kit, the pins and bushes, i replaced the lot.
it helps if you're lowering it, as the aftermarket ones are thicker and can take the extra pressure from the car being lower. this is a common problem for all commodores VN onwards with lowered front suspension.
