Congrats to Jester and his new wife!!! Much good luck to them with so much rain too... Minux your talents behind the lens are truly remarkable... Especially considering the weather! Um, that's not up to the admins/mods/etc... It's up to the people that post!
I just take them, the couple make them Thanks, but special thanks has to go to both Jester and his wife. Not one complaint all day even though it was non stop rain pretty much the whole time. From the few sneak peaks I have posted on my blog it has certainly made it worthwhile, they will have photos they can treasure forever. One thing I will say to anyone getting married, pick your bridal party very carefully. Raf had a bridal party of what to me seemed like close and good friends who enjoyed a good time. Too many times I see people pick their party out of haste and it ends up with the bride/groom getting annoyed at their bridal party for being boring. Raf & Jaimees bridal party was exactly what you would hope for, no whinging, doing what the couple wanted and always with a smile. That is what makes their day memorable and that is what helps me create what I hope others see as brilliant photos. Negative space? Yes please
I am not talking about the subject, I am talking about the composition. The end result of your photos are stunning and different. How many photographers take posy wedding shots in the local botanic gardens? Boring. You select unique locations and have your subjects do anything but grin like a chimp at the camera.
Hey, Thanks for the best wishes guys. It was a pretty amazing day even though the weather was ****. Biggest surprise of the night was the quality of the food at Melb aquarium which was just superb. Very impressed. And a massive thanks to Craig and his assistance for capturing the day/night for us. We certainly put Craig's water resistent camera body to the test that day! Anyway, jetting off to Fiji this Thursday so probably won't get a chance to jump on here again. Cheers all.
