basically my aircon is blowing air but just above neutral temp. However when I’m driving it’s much colder but as soon as I slow down from 80 to say 20 it goes from cold to warm to neutral cold. Does anyone know why this is happening.

I'd guess you are low on gas. Has the AC ever been regassed?

On the a.c. topic, im sure you will get more help, but regas seems to be required. Can I jump in and ask, I think the bearing has gone on my a.c., is it easier to fix that or just swap a 2nd hand unit in? (L98)

As far as I’m aware it has never been regassed. Also I’ve been told by a mechanic shop nearby over the phone that my compressor is probably worn out.

I would start off going to one of those places that advertise regassing for $99 and see if that solves it, and for how long

So I took it to the nrma and they’ve done a full recharge and regas. Apparently everything is fine except for a leak in the high pressure hose. They’ve added a sealant and asked for me to come back in 2 weeks to see if it holds up. I’ve been quoted 695 for a new high pressure hose is this reasonable?

talk to a proper ac mechanic not a regular spanner spinner.

in brissie i use and recommend Snowee. They will actually service compressors rather than just chuck them out because effort.
