a mild dilemma

ok, so i have been faced with a choice...

mild steel exhaust

or

stainless steel exhaust

i know that mild steel is much cheaper will be fine if ur using the car frequently, but is a stainless steel exhaust worth the extra money?

please help!

How long do you plan to keep the car ? I put a stainless steel performance muffler on my previous car then sold it 6 month later which was a waste of money. Go stainless if your going to hang onto the car for a few years to make it worth it.

yer i only just got it, and i will be getting my licence in a couple months (all going to plan) so i wont be able to afford to get another car any time soon i dont think...plus the fact that i got the car for half the market value (its not what u know...but who u know) will be a reason to keep it for a while


i wont just be stopping at the exhaust, i will be hoping to make the car an ongoing project

get aluminunised mild steel, it wont rust and is cheap...
most aftermarket mild steel exhausts are made out of it anyway
