Yes at the time It was marketed as a
"Hatch Hutch". We had two hatch backs , first was an absynth yellow
Sunbird with the Opal 4 cylinder which my wife wrote off and after that we got a UC torana hatch which she wrote off as well after a blown rear tyre which put her into a spin on the M4.
She spun around the sign that announced Speedo Check Area Ahead.
That sign was cactus as well.
Thats why you don't see that sign any more. They didn't replace it after that,
Every body panel was damaged on
the car.
