holy crap?!?! the car was in an accident ... in a CAR PARK that made it undrivable? wtf happened there?

(nothing to do with the incident, the cop was out of order no doubt, just curious as to how you total a car in a car park)

All it takes is headlights out, which would be pretty easy to do if they were just the right height to hit say, a ute tray or something. That being said, you'd expect they would just leave it in the carpark or something, but if the cop actually was on a power trip then I could believe it.

Oh no doubt he was on a power trip. The girls car hit the rear of the skyline. not to worry, both had insurance luckily.

The police deemed the car undriveable due to one headlight out, front bumper hanging off & guard rubbing on the tyre aswell..

why not take the car to holden for them to make sure the abs is fine and original, then take the paper work into the police station and ask them to remove what ever defect infringement you have.

Thats not how it works in Adelaide. He will have to pay the inspection fee either way.

i'd only owned my VX commodore for 2 days, clearly displayed red p plates. got pulled over, got the full defect check and a DRUG SEARCH of myself and my vehicle.
bought it off an old lady so i dont belive "mistaken identity".
i've never had a fine or a warning or anything in my life.

thats just police and young drivers, get used to it.

as for the ABS - i call BS too, what a silly thing to get done for.
