Long story, short.

Decided to build a car up from scratch. VT Berlina into VX Calais L67 spec

Got it running and sorted out most of the electrical faults.

I'm left with an ABS issue. "No comms" and a strange one "0095 torque outside requested range" (Tech 2 code)

Using the VIN, I can see that I need complete ABS module 92083318 but can't find one anywhere.

Any suggestions or ideas on how to get around this issue outside of finding this specific module?

Tried a standard VX Calais unit but no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you can't find one getting yours repaired may be your only option.

eBay wreckers are usually the go for used.

Hi mpower.

Unfortunately I don't have the original one as the loom and all the sensors came from another car interstate and I didn't realise I would run into this issue.
Thanks

these guys sell new, maybe that will get you going?

apart from that ask sellers who have a few listed as they don't always list every part online.

usually only need the last 3-4 digits. so in your case 3318 or 318

Thanks for the information.

Struggling to find the right ABS Hydraulic modulator. 92083318.

I've had another idea, What if I change the BCM and get the matching modulator?

I can link the BCM and computer so that's not issue.

Will that work?

Bcm has nothing to do with the abs.

Get a full abs kit, as in the hydraulics & the modulator.

Go to the wreckers & buy the whole lot of a car same as your model commodore.

VT.
If you changed the ECU and BCM then the VIN on the car wont help you, I would go and get the complete kit out of a wreaked VX L67 so it matchers the ECU. Good Luck.
