i have a 2002 wh statesman 5.7l ,has anyone had trouble with abs module, i have abs light trac control, and engine warning light coming on,and power steering goes off, my mechanic tells me its stuffed but i cant find any please help. at the moment i have disconnected the wiring to it. i know i dont have abs doing this but sick of not having power steering and warning bells going off.

you need to replace the electronic module

these are relatively easy to find just need to get one that matches - to be 100% certain you need to pull it out and check the numbers.

eBay is your friend, good news is that the car is basically functional while the stupid thing is busted.

I wouldn't pay any more than $150 for one.

Make sure you get the right one though! You need a T20 Torx to remove it and you slide the clasp and pull the plug up pretty quick job if you know how - all lights disappear once it's done, no need to reset any codes or anything.

I bought a set of these it made the torx side super easy. The long handle makes it a piece of cake.

You only need this bit - and you need to read the serial off the bottom of where the plug goes, you can't see this while it's installed unfortunately.

ignore the listings with the pump, the pump doesn't have to come out.
