It’s the front passenger that locks up while driving

I replaced the rear speed sensors but didn’t realise they was sensors on the front could it be worth getting those out and assessing those ??

That won’t fix the locking up. It’s just a good idea to inspect them though when ever the wheel is off.

You need to get the calliper off, either overhaul it or replace it.

Then bleed the brakes. Minimise the bleeding by getting a tool that pinches off the hose before you remove the brake line. (This can’t be done with braided lines)

Sounds as tho I’m better off scraping the car to the wreckers and being done with it I’ve spend thousands on it already and nothing is working

Are you serious? Over a brake calliper? Pretty straight forward job.

The problem overall will be randomly guessing what is wrong with things and swapping parts that are not faulty to solve issues. That’s called loading the parts canon. It’s a practice done by workshops too. Face book is a shocker for recommending parts swapping and guesses. It’s expensive and it’s non productive.

Loading the parts canon.
The left front calliper is getting stuck. It needs to be disassembled and overhauled or replaced.

If the left front calliper has already been replaced was it with a new one or an old one? If old it’s totally possible it too can be faulty. How to fix it is to remove it. Replace it or overhaul it.

Or possibly you are pushing the pistons back too far when doing the task (or someone else did before you got it) and damaging the piston or seal so the fault repeats itself.

You have to take it on face value. It is what it is. Do the work. Get it fixed.

I’m going g to break your heart in regard to cars. The VE is old (it hurts to think this) and it needs repairs. VF’s are reaching that point too. Cars made in the last 25 years are complex (and more so as time goes on) computer networks, not just a mechanical object. Computer diagnostics is extremely difficult and skilled, let alone doing mechanical repairs. In diagnostics there is a methodical process to follow. It can never be based on guesses or even previous experience. It has to be taken as a new task every time and done based on facts and data.

If you are feeling overwhelmed by it all, no other car will deliver something better. Same shite different bucket.

If you buy an 80’s car, you come up against parts difficulty and you need fabricating skills to keep them going.

I bought a new car and that didn’t work. Had to seek a refund.

So overall it’s not about the vehicle. It’s about forming a simple mind set. If you feel overwhelmed, simplify. Focus on only facts, not the mess of what ifs orbiting the facts. You will never find your way through otherwise. Take one thing at a time. Move through problems logically and methodically. This isn’t just about cars. It’s about clearing your mind in life as well. You must control your mind. Your mind should not control you. Focus on facts. Take a breath. Have a cuppa. Go for a walk. Smell the air. Look at the stars for a few minutes.

Do something that focuses your mind on now. Right now. Not the future. Not the past. Now. Best advice I can give to start to master anxiety.

Make sure you are very careful replacing the ABS leads on the wheel hubs if you have removed them. Non-OEM hubs don't seem to match with the ABS leads as well as the OEM versions. Takes a bit of fiddling sometimes to make sure you have a proper connection.
Spray some contact/circuit board cleaner into each end before you connect the lead.
