Hey fellas,

My fans have stopped working for both the AC and the normal cooling, If i engage the relays manually they fire up and the fans go at full noise, but I'm not getting a switch signal to engage them. Being a PWM setup there should be a controller somewhere - does anyone know where it is?

when you say engaging manually what are you doing (bypassing coil-power feed direct to line side of relay/fan) I thought you would get an input from temp sender to pcm etc to engage fans at set temp, is it sending output, just a thought

If I put 12v onto the relay coil both fans start up at full noise, so I've just had it paralleled off the engine relay so they at least work now. I'm trying to find what wire coming from the PCM controls the fan (E38 PCM) with no success.
I've changed the temp sensor in the side of the head too just in case it was playing up with no success either.
