Accessories in car work but car won’t crank or start

I recently replaced the starter motor on my vs exec s2 and the car was running fine, encountered a miss then went to fix the miss and car shut off and wouldn’t crank again, i noticed the belt had chewed through 2 wires on the dfi plug so i’ve replaced the dfi plug and made sure every wire was connected up to the right one, car still won’t start but my accessories work inside my car, any help would be much appreciated
