Adaptor plug that fits new head unit using stock HU plug?

are there any disadvantages (loss in sound quality?) in using one of these adapters as opposed to wiring up a new connection? they sound like a real good idea, just sound too good to be true, i cant be bothered with a new loom lol

You wont notice any difference at all. But if you solder it on, in theory you have a better connection.

If you can find the correct harness go for it, but if not, just solder it. I searched for one, but couldnt find the right one anyway.
