Adding RCA Jacks to stock VX Head unit

Some time ago I saw a thread in a Forum (not sure if it was this one) with detailed instructioins on fitting RCA jacks to a stock VT-VX head unit.

Problem is I can't find it anywhere and would like to give it ago. If you know where this can you please post eme up the link.

i done this and it was a waste of my few dollars and time
u do not get anything from the rcas
well u do but compared to any other decks which should produce 4-5 from the deck the eurovox only produces about 1-2 :S
so yeh

You mean 1-2 volts audio output from EuroVox & 4-5 volts from other decks from the PreAmps? If so, couldn't you just adjust the sensitivity on your Power Amp to compensate, or was it still not enough after sensitivity adjustment?
Anyhow I got 2 Line to RCA converters from Repco, around $10 each which is a safer option to install for some I think & would isolate the H.U from the AMP as well
Jaycar charges $25 each for the same thing... I wonder why
