How do you adjust the band/s on the VN. I dont have a Gregories manual so any help would be appreciated.

On the drivers side of gearbox there is a cover approx 60-80mm diameter. This cover needs to have the spring clip removedwhilst being pushed in.Care should be taken as it is under spring tension and may fly out once clip is removed. If it feels like it is slipping it is more likely the friction plates are shot.

All done. The fluid was pretty dirty. Shifts a lot smoother now. Idles better too.

the band is adjustable by shimming or removing shims from servo piston engaging pin
