When I pull the bonnet release handle, sometimes it doesn't pull the cable far enough to release the catch.
How do you adjust it so it pulls further?

A zip tie on the bonnet end of the cable between spring and cable end. One was all I needed.
Or pull cable and thump fist on cnr or bonnet to open.

Try greasing the catch - I had awful trouble opening my bonnet but a little bit of HTB grease around the pin worked a treat

Yeah, already greased it some time ago; first thing I tried. Zip tie or similar might be the go.

What you need to do is bend the actual spring that the cable attaches to. It takes 2 screw drivers to do it. You have to hold the bit that the catch locks into and at the same time, bend the loop where the cable attaches to away from the direction that the cable runs. This give the cable more pull on the catch. They bend over time so they have to be bent back. I'll try and find a picture.

The issue is that where the cable attaches bends so that the catch doesn't have enough movement to release the pin.
