As you are probably aware the Holden Adventra has unique Rear Cargo Side Windows to the Commodore Station wagon.
The Adventra has a Rear Cargo Side Window panel painted in the body colour of the car.

I recently "lost" the panel from my Adventra and had to purchase a new one.
Holden still had them but they were unpainted, and required you to purchase the CrossTrac chrome badge. Together this would be over $100 un painted.

On the 2nd hand market I was able to only find the entire rear cargo side window assembly which included the panel.
So I purchased a second hand window assembly in my body colour Heron White.

I could have removed the cars internal trim around the rear side window and removed / replaced the whole window (held in place by a series of screws) but I was really only keen on replacing the small panel.

The top of the panel is held on by 2 small clips and has 2 locating pegs.

Once unclipped, I had to slide a steel ruler in between the panel and the window assembly to break away the glue holding the panel on.

To my surprise there was also a Velcro patch holding the panel on.

The bottom of the panel just sits in two locating recesses.

After removing the panel I added some black window sealing glue to the back of the panel, then located the bottom of the panel, then clipped in the top of the panel. I then pushed on the panel to ensure the glue attached from the panel to the window assembly.

I think the "update your account" extortion message is now the most common image on google.

Thanks PhotoBucketofPoo for stuffing online resources the world over. Thanks.
