Will be looking at replacing my VY in the next few months. Not sure what to get as I also drive a 1969 MGB, which will also be sold. Back and knee issues make it difficult to get in and out of the MGB. Wanted something a bit sporty but not modified. Pretty much stock standard. Would like a Redline V8 but not sure on fuel consumption. Ive heard some switch to 4 cyl on freeway. Forgive my ignorance. Anyway looking for recommendations. Any 6 cylinder models that are really good. I do like my VY but it is getting a bit long in the tooth. Budget around 20K from the sale of my B. I average around 15000ks a year. Manual or auto doesn't bother me. I do enjoy driving. Usually only myself and my wife. What do you recommend. Even other makes...shall I mention Ford. Anyway, ideas please. Thanks in advance
