    Hi Guys,

Am just after some advice/ideas on how to go about repairing the factroy boot spoiler on my VN HSV. It looks to be a rubber/urethane unit. I have tried to find a replacement and have had no luck finding one.

It looks like its been caught on something and dragged up.

My idea was to heat the thing up and mould it back into shape (putting some form of adhesive into where its ripped) and then cooling it rapidly. Not sure if this will work or not.

Here are some pics of the damage. (will obviously need a repaint once fixed)

remove it, an leave it out in the sun for a week. It should settle, It looks like it's not mounted properly causing it to raise up an crack.

    Cheers
