ADVICE!!

Hi I met a old skool holden man who's opinion was to not bother putting a otr and tune as he said any modification with the air intake would cause more problem in the future is this right as I would like to get a bit more power or should I just get a reflash. everything's standard apart from a cat delete and straight pipe back also what Gains could I expect with just a reflash and this mod by the way I'm in nz and is a 02 vu ls1 cheers.

A good otr and tune will not cause you any problems mate! The filter in the otr does need cleaning more regularly than a normal air box type although, the gains from an otr and tune are really good in a vx LS1 would think around 40-50kw a very noticeable difference
