Have started converting a vk from 6 to v8 308 carburetor so was wanting to know what auto gearbox should i use or try and find thanks from nz

I have been using a V8 trimatic and had no problems so far

Do you know what bolt pattern is your engine block is ? Some will fit up a turbo box others will take a trimatic

I'm aware of a 304 powered VK burnout car that has been successfully using a trimatic for a good 5 years (probably more)....

The only problem he has had is finding a pesky trans leak, otherwise it's still going strong...
