Ill put it this way tho, theres a certain umpire who seems likely to get the job for field of the grand final, and if he gets it regaurdless of what teams in it, all of us from umpiring will know who to gamble our money on
Are you saying the Pies won because of poor umpiring? If that's the case then you obviously don't know your stuff... and I don't care if you do umpire the juniors! By the way... why is it that every juniors footy umpire think they are professionals and would out umpire any AFL umpire ever? Makes me laugh. Anyway... Collingwood deserved that win. We shut down Adelaide's run in the second quarter, smashed them in the 3rd and did just enough in the 4th to hang in there. Adelaide put up a very good fight and nearly got the game back but unfortunately for them it wasn't enough... PIES TOO GOOD. UMPS HAD NO AFFECT ON THE RESULT.
lol we dont think we're professionals... thats our point. im proud of the fact during state championships we had mp3 players on while it was going. collingwood won out of poor decisions by umps and poor decisions by adel players. nuff said. I just love how you get fired up and defensive over a pretty mediocre win. Im sorry but victoria is pretty up themselves and self righteous over a sport that they like to think they dominate. (final 4 being vic in afl means nothing, compare VFL to WAFL atm, creams you guys)
there were bad umpiring decisions going both ways.....adelaide got a kick in front of goal in the last quarter that was quite soft that also resulted in a goal...collingwood got one with 20 seconds to spare......collingwood were the better team on the day....even with the injuries they had....the game is over....free kick was there at the time.....collingwood won....next subject.........who reckons the doggies can knock off the sainters???
better team? lol.... like you said bad decisions both ways. gf hates me saying this but was like watching a cripple fight. Anyway we've all got our want on st kilda to win atm because we hate all the other teams, but general verdict going around our panel is that geelong will pull it off. Hope it doesnt happen, but they got the strength and they are the afl umpires darlings atm so expect some decisions to come out trying to make it not look the case.

bahahahahaha. ^^^ Im hoping my team the saints can get over the line 2night, im very nervous about it. tmrw nights game should be very good. Few ppl ive spoken to, say cats will pounce on the pies fairly quickly, but we all know that footy can go either way. you are a knob. You can not compare your WAFL to our VFL.
I think if geelong get a jump on pies like Adelaide do, it will be game over. Geelong against bulldogs the other week showed what Geelong can do, when needed they stretched the lead, then slowed down, happened a few times through the game. I really think in the past 6-7 games Geelong have played we have not seen a 100% game or a game where people weren't shuffled in position. With Rooke, ottens and johnno back, i think Collingwood will be lucky to finish within 30 points of the cats.
Otto is such an important player for us. If he dominates the ruck then it'll make it hard for the pies.
