Broadcast arrangements being a case in point.

Another good round of footy ahead in what has been an interesting season with plenty of surprises...

Essendon v Hawks - Hawks by a lot
    Geelong v Adelaide - Adelaide by 19
    North v Melbourne - North by 36
GWS v Collingwood - Collingwood by a record margin
    Carlton v Richmond - Richmond by 29
Gold Coast v Sydney - Sydney by 43
    Port v Freo - Port by 17
St Kilda v Western bulldogs - St Kilda by 59
West Coast v Brisbane - West Coast by 62

Oh and who else thinks Travis Cloke is very, very OVER RATED!! Dude can't kick straight and struggles on good defenders. I'd like to be proven wrong but he isn't worth a mil a season...

    Few tough games in there.

I agree Alpha, He's a good footballer but only a $500k player not a million dollar man.

Off the top of my head, here are the big forwards I rate higher than him in the league right now

Buddy, Roughy, Petrie, Hawkins, Pavlich, Reiwoldt (both of them), Hurley, Kennedy to name a few

You could argue a case for Tippet and Walker from Adelaide being better, maybe Mitch Clarke too.

Travis Cloke had 1 good year last year, and that's it. He couldn't kick straight before last year, and this year he can't even get the ball. I'm not saying he's a bad bloke, but definitely needs to pull his head in.

As long as Richmond don't pick up Cloke, I don't care what he does. Agrre he is over-rated esp @ $1m pa.

And Push Up is back this week....a couple of weeks earlier than expected....again. He is a machine. Should add some much needed spice to the forwad line.

Haha, push up king, triple m love him! Good little player.

@monkeys - All of those players are much better than Cloke both with a set shot kick and actually getting their hands on the footy! I reckon Clokes dad (his manager) is being a C*** head and demanding that much cash. Even though I hate Collingwood, they should refuse to pay it and if he goes, its not gonna hurt them as bad as they think!

Yeah mate. I know plenty of Collingwood supporters, and they are starting to wish he would leave.

I support Collingwood. Cloke is a good player, the pros can see something in him that fans of AFL don't. And all of this contract talk and things have been on his mind. With a few teams wanting him, is going to throw you off your game, he has his life ahead of him and he is young. I hope he stays with Collingwood

Clokes a good player, just not a "great" 1 million+ a year player. Thats all I'm saying.

Be some good games this weekend. As much as I want to say bombers can do it etc etc yeah, we are going to get our asses reamed by hawks most likely lol. Probably not as bad as what GWS will cop from the wobbles lol. The Geelong Adelaide game should be interesting too.

As for Collingwoods million dollar man, wtf? Collingwood are a good team as a whole and last time I checked they weren't a one man team so how they can justify paying one player so much is beyond me.

I hate Collingwood (Richmond supporter so it's a genetic hate, not personal) but I respect them a great deal and I don't see them letting one big sook and his dad dictate terms to them. I'm starting to hope they offer Cloke a FAIR deal (600ish) and refuse to budge any further. If he stays, great. If he leaves, they can get another free agent or trade.

I don't think he wants to got to Fremantle and sacrifice being in the top 4 for the next few years. Plus we all know the 3 cloke brothers all share a bunk bed, sleep with the light on, and have their mum and dad tuck them in every night so he wont move 4000k's away unless something drastic happens

Just gotta say, found out Scott Thompson got off the charge of striking or whatever. Heard it on the rush hour (here in Adelaide, has Mark Ricciuto on it) this afternoon. Roo was pumped cos apparantly he had a bet for Thompson to win the brownlow at $21 or something rediculous and obviously hes near favourite now.

    Melb v GC by 12

Some awesome games this weekend. Hawks should have another easy win against the cats. Collingwood will most likely beat the saints (I wish the saints would kick some wobble ass but unlikely). Carlton and Sydney should be a good game if Carlton can manage to perform well. As for bombers, well, I can see Adelaide kicking our ass on their home ground :(

What games is everyone else looking forward to?
