I have this horrible feeling that you have put the kiss of death on the boys.

I was up in Cairns for the GC game mate, and it had that feeling of "here we go again" to it. It was blowing a gale to the Karmichael hunt end. They had the wind for the first and third quarter. We had it for the 2nd and wasted it, kicking 3.7. Then at 3/4 time the breeze suddenly died down to nothing and gave us stuff all advantage. It felt like the gods were conspiring against us again.

Now just gotta beat freo this week and finals are locked in

Watching the north v carlton game, had done my tipping for this round about 8 weeks ago.....changed only one game and it was this one, for some reason I had tipped carlton (no idea why) but changed it to north earlier today.

Was really hoping north were going to win that, losing another game by less than a goal, but they were down by 30'ish points at one stage to come back and almost snatch it....they really are very entertaining to watch, bombing torps from the backline straight up the middle.

I picked North, but I didn't really have confidence in either side. Both are inconsistent, both lack any sort of defensive strategy around the ground. The lack of defense made it a really good game to watch, but it must be so frustrating for supporters. In the final quarter and protecting a lead, Carlton still had numbers running ahead of the contest. Then if they didn't win the disputed ball they were opened up like a tin of baked beans. Surely Mick won't be happy with that.

Only tipped 6 this week but my overall ranking still went up somehow, so It must have been a tough round with the Cats and Pies both losing.

Lots of 5s & 6s with most of those scoring five having little faith in the Mighty Tigers. Ignore them at your peril !!

PS...how good was Push Up's goal in the 3rd ??
