Afm disabled in perth

Who did you perth guys get to disable/delete your afm in perth and how much did they charge? Got a price from pro auto at $250,for a few mins work I think he’s taking the piss tbh and he didn’t sound too confident. Is it true that the tuner has to pay for a license to access the ecu in hp tuners?
I’d be keen to see what other tuners have charged you guys here in perth.
Everything is closed for Easter just keen to find out. Cheers

Yes. Licence purchase is a must unfortunately if your using efi-live or hp-tuners.
Although it must have gone up because im sure, for efi live atleast a few years ago it wasn't much over $100 for a licence.

I think I will call street quick, they are only 10 mins from where I live.
Tbh $250 would be a small price to pay to stop it sounding like a 4 cyl.

Managed to get hold of street quick this morning, he didn’t really want to just disable the afm for $350. Said it was a waste of money considering a tune is $880 and tune and vcm otr is $1390. I can see where he’s coming from I guess.
I’m not keen on the vcm otr. I’d prefer the orssom.
Might have to go see him in person during the week and get more details. I don’t know if it was a maf or mafless tune.
Definitely need more info

Sqp have a great reputation and I'm sure if you can supply the orrsom they'll do what you want whether maf or maflless tune.
