Long time ( almost 2 years ) since posting.
It's still good although had very little use and nothing has happened with RH duct or exhaust finish.
Did some google searching last week = ( BUELL lives again =new bikes ) also came across a business/company in the Netherlands that is big into these and therefore parts both OEM ( probably mostly 2nd hand ) and aftermarket.
Their exhaust especially the headers look way better than my Micron system , especially the front cylinder pipe which on mine is squash formed.
Anyway why posting =got a letter early last month ( I ignored ) , got another one the other week .
Concerning the red beast behind the Firebolt in post #77 ( the Suzuki RF 600 )= hasn't been regoed/insured since Sept 20 =why I ignored.
= we've calculated your insurance premium and identified you're entitled to a refund !!!
Anyway with the 2nd letter I rang expecting =sorry /yes a mistake .
Well = NO = then expected = yeah /fine /something like $5.60.
WELL = again NO = a bit over $77 a year!
=== X 12 = just under $933 =WOW
Never thought the premium was bad so , WOW =WIN !!!!!
Not sure where /what it's going towards = first thought was the Firebolt.
But I have done some searching/research
No idea yet whether I can afford ( while they are cheaper and more of , than I expected ) they are still not cheap , and $900 odd dollars only goes a small way towards)=but put towards.
One of the most innovative scooters .
And I've wanted one for ,well a bloody long time.
My pick late 1950s 192cc , 4speed, underslung/horizontal rear shock ,they all had single sided swingarm , 17" wheels ( small DIA wheels on scooters was/is a =well crap idea/fault ) , full size spare.
