GOOOOOD F...ING WORKKK my friend!!! ;)

edit* just realised, you are not OP.
haha yeah i freaking wish you were saying that to me haha, hopefully mine turns out like that, but mabey his spray job was better then mine and didnt require as much sanding, but yeah so far i started with 1200 and that and sanded for ageees, and most of the over spray and patchy bits came out, when its been polished up most of the sanding marks come out, but theres still wrinkle type markings in the paint, advice on this? do more sanding or is this a defect from the primer?

doesnt really come up in pictures, but its as the paint has kind of a wavey effect, or like theres little bumps under the paint or something

Thinking about getting a can of Septone Mr Buff. Need to know if a 500gm can will be enough to do my ute? Also for the polish should I use another Septone product? I have some Mother's I'm pretty sure would that be good for the final polish?

A good paint job is all in the preparation.
A sensational paint job takes 10 times longer that a good paint job.
I have used acrylic in the past. Very easy to use and easy to repair and touch up.

Once prep. is done after primer, undercoat, guide coat that is wet sanded back, I would spray twice with solid acrylic well thinned.
Wet rub back a week later, then 25% clear in the solid, rub back a week later, then 50/50 clear and solid colour.
Polish a week later. You should have a very high gloss smooth finish.
It just takes time.

I'm not repainting Gossie i just want to cut and polish. Hence only want to know if one 500g can of the Septone gear mentioned in the thread will be enough? I know you use it sparingly on the buffer just not sure how far a tin goes.
