Hey lads,
Installed an aftermarket headunit recently with appropriate harnesses to retain steering wheel controls according to aero pro. But my steering wheel controls aren’t working. I have programmed them through settings, they work. But as soon as I turn the car off and back on they wont function unless I program them again. Also getting a message saying ”speed sensor disconnected”, anyone know how to resolve my 2 above issues?
Cheers.

It sounds like it’s got 12v and acc back to front.

I used all aeropro plug and play adapters though so shouldn’t be the case. Right?

No. On those they have provision to change them around. I have a harness in the shed. I’ll see if I can show you what I mean later tonight.

For the purpose of fault finding, swapping the ACC and 12v to see if it solves the problem.

If it does, double check the plug pin outs on your car from the back of the old head unit. It has it printed on it.

Then you might need to depin the adaptor plug and swap them, or better still is double check the voltage with a test light first.
