Hey guys, not sure if this is in right section if not can a mod please move it. I was just curious to know if anyone has had a sunroof installed into their commodore, and a rough idea on pricing? Was looking at something like this Welcome to Prestige Sunroofs ... Any kind of feedback appreciated, Matty.
Damn! I rekon a few years ago my mate got quoted about $400-$500 to get one supplied and fitted.....not unless I heard wrong.
I got my hollandia supplied and fitted for $1100, but its the hollandia 300, the factory optional ones are the hollandia700 which are $1900 supplied and fitted from the place i got mine done
There are 3 things that are certain in life.......death, taxes..........and eventually any sunroof is going to leak or have trapped water fall into the car when you open it.

street commodores had an installation guide showing how they install sunroofs. The way they stop the leaking water, is have a drainage hole on all 4 corners, so no matter what angle it sits at, the water is always removed.
Yeah the hollandia 700 is trimmed to factory specs, as they do a lot of the dealer sunroof's as well. They have to fully retrim the headliner to do so
My cousin has recently had one fitted from Prestige in to a VS Statesman,basicly the same as factory fit with sliding shade piece and roof lining done.He was happy and it cost him about $2500.
Yeah mate, that was $1900 for drive in drive out, takes about a day and a bit he said. Will look as factory, it was at the sunroof factory, but that doesnt help you cause ur in a diff state lol
