air compressor

    hey

    i was putting a tap onto my air compressors regulator and tightened it a bit too much and it snapped off. i am wondering how do i get the half of it out of the regulator

    i believe you may need to take it to someone who could tap it out and reset the thread if they damage it.

    better just to replace the regulator??

    Take it to an engineering place.They have the tools to get it out.

    You could try hammering an allen key into the broken off piece then just unwind it. Most compressor fittings are brass so it will be fairly soft.
