2002 VX Commodore Executive S2
Hello everyone.
I'm a bit confused about the air-conditioner problem in my car.
Firstly, the problem is that when it's on recycle, not much air is coming through.

Took it in and the guy at the shop looked under the glove box and said he would need to take the whole dash out and would cost $1600-$2000 for labor + part.

A friend of mine said it was the pollen filter which is behind the glove box.

Any ideas of what I should do? Can't afford $2000 for a fix.

TIA for your replies, Steven

Gord, we've had ours for 7 years and this is the first I've heard of the pollen filter.
We live in the country and ours also blows not so good but still cold enough to cool the dogs on the 40 degrees day.
Anything between 10 and 35 and I don't even bother turning it on.
When we replace the engine shes getting a new compressor and the rest and overhaul so will be looking at the pollen filter and the fan.
Thanks for the suggestion guys.
