i had my air cond checked by a technician, because it was'nt cooling as it should be. he said there was plenty gas in it, checked the compressor, and found that it was'nt responding when you turn it on, is it v6better to repair, or replace? if a replacement is required, would anyone on here have one. 2005 VZ V6 wagon

There are some new aftermarket compressors floating about on eBay.

You can't repair A/C compressors designed for automotive use.

Edit: if it's the compressor not the clutch.

Can repair if it’s just the solenoid on the front part.

Had the same problem. Was the thermal fuse in the electromagnetic clutch. The thermal fuse was hard to find but I sourced some from AliExpress for under $10.
The repair can be done without removing the compressor but it’s a bit fiddly and you will need a puller and a few different circlip pliers to successfully do the repair
