air hammer needing to drill holes for installation??

hey guys i have an 06 VE SV6 completely stock!!

i was thinking of getting the air hammer CAI full kit, which means with the air box.

i have heard that you need to drill into the body to install this! is this true! im abit worried about drilling into the body to install an air box!!

If you buy the airhammer cai it comes in 2 pieces 1st from the throttle body to the maf 2nd maf to the pod filter you need to take out ur stock airbox no drilling needed

yeah i wish i had a v8 but still got another year and a half on green P's so might as well make the most out of what i can!! hope fully i get some induction noise!!

had V6 Airhammer installed with the heatshield (FYI it's more of sheet shield rather than a box)...
didn't need to drill any holes. I used a hole thats already in the hood and just screwed the sheet through that hole with one screw, and it's sitting there very well secured.
