I have a VU with an airbag light, it error was 163 I think, it was to replace the module.
I had this replaced, then when I check it now with my Tech2 tool it says no faults, but when I try to clear the light it won't clear.
Any ideas on what it could be or help please.
I was told about making sure it has enough loops, how fo I check this & clear my airbag light from going off.
The fuses seem fine

i have heard of similar before
unplug a seat belt pretensioner or side airbag if fitted
turn ignition on and then off
replug seatbelt pretensioner or side airbag
you will have now set a code
when you clear this code it should also turn the light off
the part number of the srs module should be for the number of loops you have

Thankyou is that the number in the corner of the module, utes have 4 & sedans have 6, is that what the number on the corner of the module is.
Thanks I will try what you suggested.
How do I know how many loops are in my VU...what do I count..
Can you explain what a loop is please, its driving me loopy.
I only know about older Holdens
I appreciate your help
Thanks again

It's the part where you click the seat belt in, next to the console.
Edit. I'm a few seconds late.
