Aircon always on?

My aircon always seems to be on most of the time with out the AC light being on too. I never worried about it though, I figure its climate control, just turn the temp up higher if its too cold

I can manually turn off a/c - as long as I am not in recirc mode. In recirc mode a/c is on, and the air is cold.
