hey all
in my vk the aircon wont change so it comes out through the vents. i can move the switch but it doesnt move from the one that goes onto your feet.

The aircon and heater works fine its just it wont change.

anyone know whats going on?

Id love to find out the answer to this, same thing happened in my ex gfs car.. no matter where you put the lever on it still came out all vents.

It sounds like either the vacuum motor that controls the flap for air direction (feet, face or windscreen) has either seized, or one the vacuum lines has disconnected. There is one vacuum line from the engine that runs into the mode control panel in the dash. There are also about four or five other vacuum lines that run from behind the control panel to the vacuum motors connected to the heater box behind the dash. It can be a bugger of a job to fix. I have sent some attachments to help you out. These are from the VK factory workshop factory manual.
