2006 Ve commodore
Hi there sorry if post in wrong part only new to page but I have 2006 Ve commodore and aircon and stereo did work , til old owners son pulled stereo out and didn't connect right , iv got light for heater aircon to light up but nothing blowing air , it's seems like it's missing a connection can anyone tell me what it could b or where the connection would b to fix thx in advance

Down behind the glovebox is the fan speed resistor (some people call it a HVAC module) see if that is plugged in correctly and make sure electrical connector on side of head unit is seated correctly (access from drivers side) and that the front cover is fully seated.
Other than that you are going to have to check fuses as no way of knowing what he did while he was in there.

Also did he put in a later model head unit in by any chance? As earlier models with a later model head unit require a wire to be removed from the connector going to the head unit otherwise the radio fuse in the boot just blows when it is connected.

Firstly, as UOFB stated above - check this, if no joy:

If you want it fixed - correctly - don't muck around with it. Take it to someone who knows how to correctly install a new(er) HU in your VE series. It could be a simple, but very important fix.

The headunit plug doesn’t just push in to join. Theres a lever that needs to be pulled down to seat the connectors correctly.

And the bigger your hands the harder it gets to get it in square and locked down :D
