aisin 6 speed gearbox

bought an aisin 6 speed gearbox for vk ecotech transplant spozed to come from a sv6 vz does anyone no if i can get bellhousing to suit and will shifter be in ok location havnt gone further had vz engine as well till told bad option still cheap 6 speed option for me if i can get it behind an ecotech

Why not just get a T5 that would suit the ecotec? Would have been cheaper that Aisin in the first place I'd say.

Not really if you have to do all the dev for it, I don't think anybody has made an adaptor plate or bellhousing to get this box on to an Ecotec. I'd say a T56 to Ecotec conversion is much more common.

Extra strength isn't really needed if you're not doing anything wild with the engine, T5 is adequate and fitment is guaranteed and easy.
