Alarm light in cluster & factory Blaupunkt stereo light

Hi guys from across the ditch and worldwide. In my 2002 VX police issue commodore the alarm light in my cluster aswell as the small red light on the Blaupunkt factory stereo flashes at the speed of a human body heart rate. Is that normal or is there something I need to do? Anyones help/teaching will be truly appreciated. Thank you

I had a VX Series II Berlina Wagon [another Car that was great] before my First 2009 and Second 2012 VE,
and I am sure that's normal.
Because I wondered that myself when I bought it, being the Radio is Security Coded, and will flash when the ignition is off, and is extinguish when the ignition is switched to accessories and on position,
and the same with the immobiliser on the cluster,
again I stand to be corrected on both if I am incorrect.

Yes, it's normal for them to flash with the ignition off, but not on.
