HI I have a 93 vp calais with a factory alarm the car dealer fixed the remote best botch up on electronic repairs Ive seen.Now even though the alarm hasn't been set the security light will come on. its ok while driving but does it when parked so you have to press the remote to turn it off could this be the remote setting the alarm apparently its a bosch alarm
any help would be great

Thats exactly how the immobiliser/alarm is meant to work on the VP Calais. It will always turn the immobiliser/alarm on after 1-2 minutes after turning the car off... you just have to get into the habbit of pressing the door button everytime you see the security light flashing...even if the doors are already open :) I thought it was a great feature...stops anyone from trying to crank the engine over
