Alarm system going crazy

hey to be short my alarm system keeps going off, for a couple of hours its fine but then all of a sudden it just goes off, turn it off, couple mins later just goes off again

what is causing this thanks

Few questions:

What type of alarm is it? Aftermarket or Factory (did Vp's come out with an alarm???)

Do you know what kind of input sensors it has? Motion, glass breakage, ultrasonic...

Do you know what brand it is?

Are you able to tell what sensor has gone off after triggering? ie. does your repeaters flash a certain amount of times after you disarm the car?

maybe its just too sensitive... you can adjust that cant you?
