Has anyone successfully dyed the light coloured alcantara? My Calais V has the beige alcantara with black leather and I want to change to the dark grey. Any ideas, suggestions would be appreciated. I do not want to swap my seats as my car only has 16K kilometres.

It will be hard to make it look even & without any watermarks ... but given how easily it picks up fingerprint marks from careless dealer techs, it'll accept another colour quite readily.

Not something that I would choose to do, mind you, I find the black interiors a bit heavy & depressing compared to even just those few titanium alcantara highlights.

Probably quicker and cheaper than dying the existing one

The MY17 VF2 Calais V got black trims instead of beige, no logo either. But very difficult to find.

Alcantra is a synthetic and the colouring is set in the plastic when heat extruded. It will not take a surface applied dye.
